In addition, burlap is 100% biodegradable, environmentally friendly, and harmless to wildlife, making it ideal for projects with ecological concerns.

These days, with cheaper plastic alternatives, burlap sacks are not being used as frequently. That being said, the plastic alternatives cannot compare to the strength and durability of a burlap bag.
